Clean Water in Schools
In June, Governor Jared Polis signed the Clean Water in Schools and Child Care Centers law, which requires all public schools to sample their drinking water for lead and take mitigative action when results show levels of lead at or above 4.5 parts per billion.

DISTRICT JOINS WITH COMMUNITY IN PROMOTION OF PEACE
One of the District's most anticipated happenings of the school year is the Community Peace Summit, a gathering designed to promote kindness, positivity and encouragement, with our scholars leading the way. The Summit reflects the District’s mission to create peace and harmony in its schools and engage families and the community in the promotion of kindness and empathy.

FAMILY ENGAGEMENT NIGHT AT PUEBLO ZOO
The District’s first Family Engagement Night of the school year saw scholars from Corwin International Magnet Schoo, Fountain International Magnet School, Pueblo South Park Elementary Parents and Sunset Park Elementary Schoo join together at The Pueblo Zoo to observe the animals and take part in activities like scavenger
