Each year, the Pueblo County Chapter of the Colorado Teacher of the Year Program honors peer-nominated dedicated, knowledgeable and skilled K-12 classroom educators with a Colorado Teacher of the Year Award.
And the District itself recognizes three Classified Support Staff for their exemplary service and professionalism.
On Wednesday, Superintendent Charlotte Macaluso and D60 Board of Education President Sue Pannunzio paid a surprise visit to the 2024 award winners:

The winners will be formally recognized at an awards reception May 9 in the D60 board of education chambers in the D60 Administration Building, starting at 4:30 p.m.
