As we continue to recognize the essential work of our school counselors during National School Counselor Week, the District invited counselors from all grade levels to participate in a "counselor appreciation day," which included a delicious cake and fellowship.
The counselors were lauded by Superintendent Charlotte Macaluso, who praised them for their life-affirming work in ensuring our young people receive all the necessary support to lead lives of purpose and impact.
The counselors also took advantage of the opportunity to engage in a professional development session coordinated by Executive Director of Student Support Services and Title IX Coordinator Andy Burns and Director of Student Success and Equity Michelle Alcon-Montoya.
