Throughout the District, "Spirit Days" are a great way to add some excitement and style to a day of study. Often times, these days serve as fundraisers for a school, as those who take part pay a small "fee" to wear a certain clothing item, as an example.
This week, two of our schools -- D60 Columbian Elementary and Sunset Park Elementary School -- sponsored "Spirit Days," with the Thunderbolts of Columbian decked out in an assortment of hats and the Yearlings of Sunset Park donning sports jerseys for the day.
