ISABELLA DEJESUSCSU Pueblo Presidential Scholarship
"The teacher that made the biggest impact in my life is Mr. Roque," Isabella said. "I had him for my 11th grade math and helped me through the struggles of my senior years."
At Centennial, Isabella was part of Girls Cabinet, which she cited as her favorite activity.
"It’s a fun group of people and you get to do a lot of fun things in the community," she said. "I don’t know where I would be without the support of this amazing group of women."
At the collegiate level, Isabella will study Human Services.
"My career goal is to help those in need. I love to help people and I want to be able to get an education and come back to my home town of Pueblo and help anyone and everyone in need," she said.
To the next generation of Bulldogs, Isabella has this advice:
"It gets easier through the years. It actually does go by fast, so make every moment court and participate as much as you can. Clubs, sports, and dances are really fun. Don’t be scared to try new things."
