“SHE KILLS MONSTERS” A COLORFUL 90S’ THROWBACK

Four students perform in Central's production of She Kills MonstersPresented by the Central Drama Department, “She Kills Monsters” is a colorful and engaging look back at the 90s, when “Dungeons and Dragons” was all the rage and Silverchair, Weezer and the Cranberries provided the soundtrack to many a life.

Directed by Central Drama Instructor Kristin Skye Hoffmann and featuring a talented cast of performers in a variety of challenging roles, “She Kills Monsters” explores loss and regret, as Agnes (Flora Nobles) explores the World of “Dungeons and Dragons” in an effort to get close to her nerdy little sister Tilly (Carlee Nunn), who was killed in an auto accident.

It’s in the fantasy world of “Dungeons and Dragons” where Agnes and Tilly meet an array of characters both good and evil. There are fairies, a Demon Queen, cheerleaders, Bug Bears, wraiths and more, with plenty of fight scenes designed to thrill.

The cast includes Jay Carbajal, Jonathan Casias, Sophia Cisney, Cameron Farmer, Finnley Forsythe, Isaiah Lefebre, Rylee Lewis, Alana Tran, Lilith Shook, Samantha Smith-Ingo and Jolena Valdez.

Tickets are $5 for students $10 for adults (cash only at the door.) All Drama Club students in D60 and D70 enter free.
