Pueblo Community College’s Gateway to College program is open to students between the ages of 17 and 20. It affords participants the opportunity to receive a traditional high school diploma from their school district while earning college credits toward an associate degree or certificate.
Pueblo Community College’s Gateway to College program is open to students between the ages of 17 and 20. It affords participants the opportunity to receive a traditional high school diploma from their school district while earning college credits toward an associate degree or certificate.On Tuesday at Memorial Hall, scholars from Centennial, East, Central and South were awarded their diplomas and accrued college credits in a commencement ceremony hosted by Janelle Soto-Quintana, director of pre-college programs at PCC.
The District 60 scholars were accepted by D60 Board of Education member Sol Sandoval Tafoya, with Superintendent Charlotte Macaluso awarding the diplomas. Members of the D60 Board of Education were on hand to congratulate the graduates.
The D60 scholars joined colleagues from District 70, Chavez Huerta, Canon City, and Florence-Penrose in completion of the program.
