WILDCAT JROTC RAIDERS TOP 10 IN TEXAS CHALLENGE

The Central Wildcat JROTC Raider Team runningThe Central Wildcat JROTC Raider Team competed in the 1st Annual Brigade Raider Challenge in San Antonio, Texas.

In a competitive field of 50 teams from Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma and New Mexico, Central finished in 10th place.

“The Raiders performed well and overcame adversity with poise and confidence,” said Central JROTC instructor Thomas Scales.

“Their performance, teamwork, and motivation earned recognition from the Brigade Command Sergeant Major and other JROTC Instructors across the Brigade. They brought credit to themselves, their families, Wildcat Battalion, Wildcat Nation, and the community.”

The community is invited to see the Wildcats, and South Raiders, in action Friday, as the Colts host the SGM Paul Tsuyama Memorial Raider Meet. Kickoff is at 7:30 a.m.On April 26, the Wildcat Raiders will travel to South Dakota to compete in the Black Hills Raider Challenge.
