With our high schoolers now officially D60 alumni, this week sees middle schools sending off eighth graders to the next step in their educational journey through continuums.Tuesday at the Arts Center, Goodnight K-8 School Principal Gina Martindale and staff hosted a gala continuum for the 47 Longhorns who have completed their journey at the South Side school.
As the overwhelming majority of the eighth graders have attended Goodnight School from the elementary level, the annual continuum is an festive way to celebrate their advancement to high school as well as the many years spent at the school.
Tuesday's continuum featured an introduction of graduates, a dinner, retrospective slide-show, an awards presentation, and the handing out of T-shirts bearing the high school of choice for each graduate.
