The Classified support staff award winners are Lawrence Espinoza (Risley), Thomas Portillos (Facilities), and Leilani Cortez (Sunset Park.)
The six honorees were nominated by colleagues impressed with their dedication and commitment to providing a quality education for children.
On behalf of the District, Superintendent Macaluso expressed her appreciation to the honorees for their efforts and presented each with a plant/flower arrangement.
The six honorees will be formally recognized by the D60 Board of Education and the District during the Board's regular May meeting.
Throughout the month of May, designated as Teacher Appreciation Month, we will be recognizing a host of educators through a series called “Meet Your Teacher.”
