GOING GREEN AT DUTCH CLARK STADIUM

Three students help plant a shrub at Dutch Clark Stadium
Along with a multi-million dollar renovation to the iconic Dutch Clark Stadium, a beautification project will see more than 200 shrubs and 60 trees -- and an ornate sidewalk -- added to the stadium entrance along Abriendo Avenue.

On Friday, April 21st -- and in anticipation of Earth Day on Saturday -- student leaders from South, Central and East spent the morning assisting members of Trees Please with planting, mulching and raking.

As Dutch Clark Stadium is the centerpiece of local athletics and activities, the student leaders were eager to contribute to a project that will add visual appeal to a facility that will continue to serve the community well into the future.
