SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM UNDERWAY

A young child takes a big bite out of a pearThanks to the efforts of SFE - Pueblo D60 Foodworks, students 18 and younger will have plenty of opportunities for free lunches this summer.

At the Rawlings Library of the Pueblo City-County Library District, happy youngsters lined up for the first meal of the summer, which they enjoyed in the air-conditioned maker space.

The meals are served Monday through Friday and will continue until July 26.

In addition to the Rawlings and Lamb libraries, meals will be served at Cesar Chavez Academy, El Pueblo History Museum, PAA, Risley, Minnequa, Irving and the YMCA of Pueblo.
