D60 IconAs the D60 Board of Education continues to narrow down the best candidates to lead our school District moving forward, three finalists will be invited to spend a day in the District to learn more about the position and our community.
The three finalists will visit Pueblo on Tuesday, April 16. The visit will include a meeting with District leadership and building principals and tours of an elementary and high school.
At Central High School, members of the community will have the opportunity to meet the candidates from 6:15 to 8 p.m. From 4:30 to 6:15 p.m. at Central, District staff are invited to participate in a "meet and greet." Participants are asked to stay for the duration of the session.
The executive search firm HYA will be collecting live feedback during the April 16 visit. Those who participate in the April 16 visit will be provided with a QR code unique to each finalist for this purpose.
This input will be shared directly with the board of education in real-time to help members in their selection of a new superintendent.
The board is expected to hold interviews with the three finalists on April 24, with those sessions to be live streamed via the District's website. The naming of the new superintendent is expected at a future board meeting.
