LIVING WAX MUSEUM FIGURES RELAY HISTORY

A young student dressed as Albert EinsteinThe scholars of Highland Park Elementary received a colorful and engaging history lesson, courtesy of Ryann Washburn's fourth graders, who assumed the persona of a famous historical figure and then presented interesting biographical information about that person.

From presidents to English royalty to space travelers to saints, the fourth-grade Stallions first researched their adopted figure's life before jotting down a biographical sketch for presentation to schoolmates.

The historically minded fourth graders lined a hallway, standing perfectly still like wax figures until a "button" on the hand was pushed, thus kick-starting the oral presentation.
