PASSING OF THE TORCH: Pueblo East "Eagle Empire"

East students wearing yellow caps and gowns walk through the halls for a final timeA longtime tradition at East, the Passing of the Torch ceremony pays tribute to the graduating class of seniors while recognizing the scholars currently in grades 9, 10 and 11 who will be "moving up the ranks" come the start of the new school year.

Inside the school gymnasium, the Class of 2024 entered through a congratulatory tunnel made up of their educators and building leaders. The assembly, hosted by Principal Andy Clementi, featured the musical talents of seniors in the Les Jongleurs and the marching band.

Members of the Class of 1973 donated a customized John Deere "Gator" utility vehicle for use on the campus.
