REGIONAL STEM FAIR STATE QUALIFIERS/AWARD WINNERS
For the 21st year, the D60 Elementary and Southern Colorado Regional (6th through 12th grade) STEM Fair attracted well researched and interesting projects in science and engineering categories.
From this talented field, 15 middle and high schoolers earned the right to advance to the state competition.
“It is evident that students not only spent a lot of time and energy on their projects, but also have a tremendous amount of passion for science,” noted Mary Jose, the District’s Science Coordinator. “Our students really are amazing.
“That being said, the adults who support these students also need to be thanked. Teachers, coaches, parents, guardians: they are all needed to make science projects successful.”
