2024 INITIAL PERFORMANCE FRAMEWORKS RELEASED
The Colorado Department of Education has released preliminary 2024 District and School Performance Frameworks, based on achievement and growth on state assessments as well as post secondary measures. School Performance Frameworks are released annually as part of the accountability system for schools and districts.

DREW HIRSHON RETURNS TO DISTRICT AS DIRECTOR OF MAGNET SCHOOLS
When the District received a historic five-year $5 million federal Magnet Schools Assistance Program grant to Implement high-quality STREAM programming (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), it found in Drew Hirshon the ideal leader to serve as Director of Magnet Schools. With nearly two decades in education, Mr. Hirshon – whose career started in the District in 2007 – is now back to administer the grant and train those who will help lead the District and its scholars into new horizons.

PARENT AND FAMILY ACADEMY NIGHT: INFINITE CAMPUS
Our first Parent and Family Academy of the school year will focus on navigating Infinite Campus. It will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11 at the D60 Administration Office (315 W 11th Street). At the event you will learn how to sign in to, or sign up for, a parent Infinite Campus account and learn how to check grades and attendance and access important information.

Starting Wednesday, all children 18 and under can enjoy a tasty meal, Monday through Friday, at one of several convenient locations: Cesar Chavez Academy, Pueblo Academy of Arts, Risley International Academy of Innovation, Minnequa Elementary School, Irving Elementary, El Pueblo History Museum, YMCA of Pueblo, and the Lamb Library and Rawlings Library of the Pueblo City-County Library District.
