SOUTH CHOIRS PRESENT FALL CONCERT

The vocal performance season is underway following a performance by talented Pueblo South High School Colts in early October.

Under the direction of first-year Choral Director Maxine DiMarco, a 2011 graduate of East, four choirs offered a variety of selections, from pop standards ("Dust in the Wind," "Daybreak"), to movie tunes ("Pure Imagination"), sailor's songs ("Reflections of a Lad at Sea"), and standards ("Stars and Stripes," "May the Road Rise to Meet You," "And Wherever You Go.")

The program was presented in conjunction with Colorado music standards: expression, creation, and theory of music; and response to music.

Kirsten Kleven served as accompanist.
