Farmers Market Comes to Sunset

In order to expose our scholars to new food items, SFE - Pueblo D60 Foodworks regularly visits schools to host Farmers Markets. This week, Sunset Park Elementary School hosted a market, which allowed the Yearlings to sample guava, the cara cara orange and watercress.
The Yearlings also learned important information about the food items, including nutritional value and areas where they are grown.
