Pueblo School District 60
Criteria For Consideration
Primary Criteria:
As established by building principals, there are three primary criteria to be considered during the rightsizing discussion:
- Sustainable enrollment: The relationship between building capacity and number of students enrolled.
- Community utilization: The importance of a school in a given neighborhood; ease of navigation to get to school (transportation versus walking); whether other schools exist in that same quadrant.
- Facility condition: The current state of a building, with consideration given to needed improvements.
