    PCC SANTA SELF CARE DAY OFFERS HOLIDAY PICK-ME-UP

    For 100 students from our elementary, middle and high schools, an early Christmas present in the form of a fresh new hairstyle and vibrant nails was bestowed through the generosity of the Pueblo Community College Cosmetology Program and Michelle Garcia, coordinator of House Bill 1451 (Collaborative Management Program.)

    THREE DISTRICT SCHOOLS HONORED BY GOVERNOR

    Today, Governor Jared Polis announced a new special recognition for 21 schools across the state, including three from District 60, that have demonstrated strong growth in student achievement since 2019. The selected schools, which include Irving Elementary, Heritage Elementary and Franklin School of Innovation, have demonstrated excellence and the ability to advance learning through challenging times.

    CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS MONTH CONTEST

    As October is designated as Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the District hosted its first Cybersecurity Awareness Month Poster and Video Contest. Open to scholars at all grade levels, the competition was designed to promote the safe and secure use of the internet while encouraging students to make better decisions when posting pictures, videos, and personal information online.
