Donations of material and/or labor
We appreciate and encourage appropriate donations and committee based projects. To ensure that our schools are safe and building modifications are done in accordance with applicable state and local building codes and governmental regulations, all proposed donations, additions, modifications or renovations must be performed by or coordinated through the Facilities Management Department and approved by the Director of Facilities Management. The project will be reviewed for safety, maintainability and future impact on facilities. All donations of material and /or labor must be accepted and approved by the Board of Education prior to construction.

Facility rentals
Pueblo School District 60’s Board of Education makes certain facilities available for community use after regular school program hours. Fees are charged to recover the cost of extra use of the District’s facilities.

Information about new construction
Several construction projects are underway in District 60 in connection to the #BuildD60 Bond Improvement Program passed by voters in 2019.
- Learn more about these projects, including current and timely updates, on the #BuildD60 Bond Improvement Program page.

Capital Improvement Projects
Capital improvements projects are accomplished by assessing building systems districtwide to determine project funding priorities. Since capital reserve funds are limited, Pueblo School District 60 relies on other sources of funds, such as capital construction grants, Qualified Zone Academy Bonds, community bond fund initiatives and private donations. All funds and expenditures are approved through the Board of Education and projects are administered through the office of facilities management.
