    The mission of the Centennial High School Counseling Program is to provide ALL students with a comprehensive counseling program to achieve growth in academic, personal/social, and career competencies in order to achieve success in college or the workforce.

  • There is no need to repeat your applicant details for every college on your list.  Enter your information one time and use it to apply to multiple schools. Check to see if the schools to which you are applying accept the Common Application to make the application processes easier and faster.
    COLLEGIATE ATHLETES
    Student-athletes should use this tool starting their junior year to navigate the eligibility process for playing sports at the collegiate level.  Check with your coach, the college coach, and the school's website to see if it is a NCAA sanctioned school.
     
     
    FINANCIAL AID FOR COLLEGE INFORMATION (FAFSA/COF/WICHE)
    Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is the first step toward getting federal aid for college, career school, or graduate school.  FAFSA opens up October 1st and should be completed yearly starting your senior year.
    The College Opportunity Fund (COF), created by the Colorado Legislature, provides a stipend to eligible undergraduate students. The stipend pays a portion of your total in-state tuition when you attend a participating college. Students who are residents of WICHE states are eligible to request a reduced tuition rate of 150% of resident tuition at participating two- and four-year college programs outside of their home state.

    Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)
    INDIVIDUAL CAREER AND ACADEMIC PLAN (ICAP)
    ICAP is a multi-year process that intentionally guides students and families in the exploration of career, academic and postsecondary opportunities. With the support of adults, students develop the awareness, knowledge, attitudes, and skills to create their own meaningful and powerful pathways to be career and college ready.  College in Colorado offers information for colleges, scholarships, careers and financial aid in Colorado.  Students do not need a password for College in Colorado. Please see your counselor for more information.
