About Centennial High School
Since opening in the middle of America's Gilded Age in 1871, Centennial High School has been a centerpiece of Pueblo.
For the past 150 years, scores of future business leaders, professional athletes, actors, politicians, authors, and even a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient in Drew Dix, have walked the hallowed halls of Centennial. Whether it's excelling on the fields of play, serving as one half of the oldest football rivalry west of the Mississippi River with Central High School in the annual "Bell Game," or excelling in industry, Centennial has produced well-rounded, productive graduates for generations, and that tradition continues today.
By 2023, Centennial will move into its fourth building in its century-and-a-half history, and as always has been the case at Centennial, the heart of a Bulldog cannot be contained inside four walls.
