Dress Code

Uniform Policy

  • Bessemer Academy does not have a uniform policy. 

    All K-5 Bessemer Academy students must adhere to the Dress Code Policy listed in the Pueblo D60 Student Code of Conduct Handbook.

  • *In accordance with the Pueblo School District 60 Student Conduct and Discipline Code, students will NOT be allowed to wear trench coats and other like jackets capable of easily concealing weapons (including hoodies) during the school day. Students may wear them to and from school only.

    Because Bessemer Academy is providing all school supplies for the year, Bessemer Academy shirts WILL NOT be provided by the school for the school year. 


    Uniform tops may be purchased at  Embroidery Plus  or The Spirit Store
    If your child is unable to meet the uniform requirement on any day, please contact the office that morning at (719) 549-7505
