About Fountain International Magnet School

The mission at Fountain International Magnet School, in cooperation with students, families and communities, is to educate children as balanced individuals, global thinkers, and caring citizens. This will be accomplished in a safe environment through a rigorous, inquiry-based curriculum supported by technology and guided by purposeful assessment.  

Our vision at Fountain International is that all students will attain a high level of achievement utilizing local, state, and international standards. This will prepare them to succeed in our global society and inspire them to become life-long learners. 

Fountain International offers a focused curriculum emphasizing technology, mathematics, and science facilitated through the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).  Fountain International is an IB authorized school.  Within the IB frameworks, our students receive instruction in the arts, humanities, world-language and physical education classes along with the core content areas. The entire staff at Fountain International is highly committed to our students learning and success. 

A critical component of our school community is parent involvement.  Our parents are required to complete 18 volunteer hours during the school year. As parent support is critical to the success of each student, we are committed to active and positive communication with parents utilizing a variety of mediums.

Students dress for success everyday by wearing a standard school uniform Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Formal uniform attire is worn on Mondays, special occasions and on field trips.
