Principal's Message

  • Dear Park View Elementary School Community,

It is with great excitement and honor that I introduce myself as the new principal of Park View Elementary School. As I step into this role, I am filled with enthusiasm and dedication to serve the students, families, and staff of our wonderful school community.

Park View Elementary is known for its commitment to academic excellence, nurturing environment, and strong sense of community. I am deeply committed to upholding and building upon these traditions, while also fostering innovation, growth, and inclusivity in all aspects of our school.

To our students: Welcome back, or if you're new to Park View, welcome for the first time! I am thrilled to embark on this educational adventure with each one of you. My promise to you is to provide a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment where you can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Remember, you are capable of achieving greatness, and the staff and I are here to support you every step of the way.

To our families: Your partnership and involvement are crucial to the success of our school community. I invite you to actively participate in your child's education, whether through volunteering, attending school events, or engaging in conversations with teachers and staff. Together, we can ensure that every child at Park View receives the support and resources they need to reach their full potential.

To our staff: Thank you for your unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment to our students' success. Your hard work and tireless efforts make a difference in the lives of our students every single day. I am eager to collaborate with each of you, to learn from your expertise, and to empower you to continue making a positive impact on our school community.

Park View is a No Excuses University School. We were awarded a Magnet School Assistance Program (MSAP) Grant called Project Heroes.  This grant is designed to create a whole school STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math) magnet program at Park View, with the implementation of the grant beginning in the 2025-2026 school year,

I am truly honored to serve as your principal, and I look forward to getting to know each of you in the coming weeks, months, years. Together, let us make this school year one of growth, achievement, and endless possibilities.

    With warmest regards,
    Kitty Odell
