Principal's Message

  • Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year. This year we begin implementation of the Early Literacy Grant from the Colorado Department of Education and are excited to see the growth in our students. We will continue to focus on math with the implementation of the Eureka Math curriculum.

Our mission is to continually strive for academic excellence while moving forward as a S.T.E.M. school who values 21st Century skills exhibited through collaboration, dedication, and respect for all. I believe that education is a partnership between the school, students, parents/guardians, and community. Working together our children can be more successful and achieve their educational goals.

I invite you to become an active participant in our school community through volunteering, joining our PTO, or attending and supporting school events. Communication will be the key to our successful educational partnership. Together, we will continue to improve the quality of our school community and provide the best for the children of Highland Park Elementary School.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at (719) 549-7560 or crystal.gallegos@pueblod60.org.
