The Pueblo School District Science Department believes in providing students with a high quality science education in alignment with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). These standards are embedded into our science instruction and were designed to prepare our students with the knowledge and skills to be successful in post secondary education, the workforce and life.
Our Department believes that a quality science education embodies 21st-century knowledge and skills that provide students with age-appropriate, rigorous and relevant authentic learning experiences that support critical thinking, inquiry, creativity, problem solving, reasoning, communication and collaboration that are transferrable to the real world.
