The Pueblo School District 60 English Language Arts/Literacy Department believes in supporting students and teachers in developing the capacity to use texts to better understand others’ experiences in the world, make connections with high-quality texts, and to command language in order to articulate their own perspective on the human experience through reading, writing, and communicating. We also support students and teachers' access to all genres of text in order to demonstrate disciplinary literacy in all content areas and alignment of the text to the Colorado Academic Standards.
