Principal's Message

Hello D60 Online Families,

I am Mrs. Stephanie Markert, Principal of D60 Online. I’m excited that you are joining our school family! We are proud to offer a new learning opportunity to Elementary and Middle School students living here in Pueblo. It is my sincere hope that you and your child have a positive experience and feel connected, seen, safe, supported and successful while accessing virtual instruction.

Your child’s success is important to you, and it is important to us. We strive to be timely and responsive in our communication with you and your child. D60 Online serves Pueblo students in grades 4-8. In addition to virtual instruction, we will Edgenuity as our curriculum. We have built our school around best practices in online education while maintaining a focus on the success of each student.

Pueblo has been my home since 2012 when I moved here to teach 5th grade. I have experience as a teacher and leader at both the elementary and middle school levels. At home, I have a first grader and a high schooler, and it’s every bit as fun as it sounds. My husband is also an educator and works at Irving Elementary. I am invested in our city and want to do everything I can to make it a community our children want to grow up and grow old in!
