D60 is encouraging families to utilize resources that many companies have offered in response to the pandemic situation. These options include:
- Comcast / Xfinity - Comcast has enabled families to receive free (for 60 days) Internet for families if they qualify. All they have to do is visit www.internetessentials.com to apply.
- Additionally Comcast has published a map of free “hotspots” where students and families can attach to available Wifi. There are many locations around Pueblo that may be easy for students to connect to. The website for that information is https://wifi.xfinity.com Here is a list of free Xfinity hotspots in Pueblo.
- T-Mobile has activated hotspot capability on all customers who currently use T-mobile as their cell phone provider. This is being provided for free for the next two months for T-Mobile customers and is up to 20Gbps high speed data. More information can be found here.
