D60 Parent and Family Engagement & Academies

The Parent and Family Engagement section of the Student Support Services department here at Pueblo School District 60 coordinates and implements parent involvement in their students’ educational programs and school site activities through community resources, instructional materials and social and emotional learning programming. Our goal is to facilitate stronger ties to schools and teachers, and to enable parents/families to assist their children with the tools and skills they learn at our Parent and Family Academies at home or utilize them to achieve their individual goals to lead a life of purpose and impact.

Our Parent and Family Academies are FREE and OPEN to all families and students that attend a Pueblo D60 school. These Academies are informational and educational sessions about issues facing our parents, families and students that were indicated in the Needs Assessment sent out at the beginning of the school year. The Parent and Family Academies will be a mixture of workshops, discussions and presentations. See our schedule of events below for the 2024-2025 school year.
