Threat Assessments
Pueblo School District 60 takes student safety very seriously. As one part of our district’s safety protocol, we have established and implemented a “Threat Assessment Process.”
The goal of the Threat Assessment Process is to identify students of concern, assess their risk for engaging in violence or other harmful activities to themselves or others, and identify intervention strategies to manage that risk.
A threat assessment is a valuable safety tool that helps ensure the well-being of each student. School staff and stakeholders are trained to conduct threat assessments, and when law enforcement and/or mental health interventions are necessary.
