  • GRADES 1-8 ONLINE SCHOOL APPROVED BY THE STATE

    D60 Online is slated to open in the fall. Originally, the Online School was to educate students in Kindergarten through the 12th Grade. But as Dutch Clark Digital and the Paragon Learning Center currently offer flexible remote learning plans for high schoolers, the new Online School’s focus will be on elementary and middle school students who have expressed an interest in learning from home.

  • RAY AGUILERA’S LEGACY LIVES ON THROUGH VOCABULARY CHALLENGE

    For years, Mr. Aguilera and his Pueblo Poverty Foundation sponsored an end-of-year “Vocabulary Challenge” that rewarded those students who learned the most new words. Mr. Aguilera passed away before the results of this year’s Challenge could be revealed. Prior to his passing, however, he prepared a host of “Fun in the Sun” gift bags earmarked for those scholars who best padded their vocabularies throughout the year.

  • D60 EDUCATORS TO RECEIVE SALARY INCREASE OF 10 PERCENT OVER THE NEXT TWO YEARS

    After a series of highly productive negotiations throughout the Spring, Pueblo School District 60 and the Pueblo Education Association teachers union have reached a tentative full and total 2-year agreement that includes a significant compensation increase for educators.

    Slated to open in the fall with the commencement of the 2021-22 school year, District 60 K12 Online School will provide families with yet another educational opportunity built on the remote learning innovations implemented during the pandemic.
