Superintendent's Writing Award Contest
Pueblo School District 60 has been proud to showcase and highlight our students through the Superintendent’s Cross Curriculum Writing Award for the past 30 years.
The purpose of the Superintendent's Cross Curriculum Writing Award is to emphasize the importance and purpose of writing across the curriculum and in every content area, to allow students to become familiar with different writing types and genres, and to recognize excellence in expository and creative writing.
Students' pieces are selected from a pool of entries for publication in the annual Superintendent’s Cross Curriculum Writing Award book. Students were asked to demonstrate proficiency in quality writing using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation to show clarity and knowledge through an expository or creative writing piece.
The Superintendent’s Cross Curriculum Writing Award would not be possible without the hard work of entrants and their teachers for the effort put forth and for the quality of writing received.
