Spelling Bee

Taking place annually since 1977, participants Pueblo School District 60 Spelling Bee are the five finalists from each school with students in grades 6–8.

The District Spelling Bee qualifies 10 finalists who are eligible to participate in the Annual Colorado State Spelling Bee, and the State finalist will participate in the National Spelling Bee
held in Washington D.C.

The rules for the competition at all levels are taken from National Spelling Bee, and are provided locally for spelling bee participants.
