D60 Teacher and Staff Awards
In 2026, D60 introduced our own event to honor and celebrate an exceptional teacher and staff member from every school across the district—along with honoring district-wide Teachers and Staff Members of the Year at each level. The evening includes a heartfelt dinner and awards celebration.

Pueblo School District 60 proudly recognizes the outstanding teachers and staff members who make a difference in the lives of students every day through the annual Teacher and Staff of the Year Awards Program.
Each school principal is asked to select one teacher and one staff member to represent their campus as their school’s Teacher and Staff Member of the Year. Honorees from across the district are then celebrated at a special recognition event, where one teacher and one staff member from the elementary, middle, and high school levels will be named D60’s District-Wide Teacher or Staff Member of the Year.
School principals must complete the online nomination form to recognize their school’s outstanding teacher and staff member for the 2026–2027 D60 Awards Program.
Nomination Deadline: January 14, 2027
Recognition Event: March 18, 2027
Please note: Participation is required for all schools. If multiple nominations are submitted from a school, the principal will determine which individuals move forward for recognition at the district ceremony.
