CDE GRANT WILL BOLSTER TEACHER MENTORING PROGRAM
Over the course of two years, a $901,100 Colorado Department of Education New Teacher Mentor Grant will provide additional support to strengthen the District’s new teacher mentoring program. The grant was written by Kelly Warren, the District’s Director of Professional Development, with support from Tammy Neal, Executive Director of Human Resources.

FUTURE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IS A DANIELS SCHOLAR
A drum major with Central’s Marching Band, Dwayne also is part of the Jazz Band. He is active in Central's Fellowship of Christian Athletes, serving as president. At Central, his favorite courses are music and math. To give back to his community, Dwayne is part of an outreach at the Oakwood Estates mobile home park.

Presented by the Central Drama Department, “She Kills Monsters” is a colorful and engaging look back at the 90s, when “Dungeons and Dragons” was all the rage and Silverchair, Weezer and the Cranberries provided the soundtrack to many a life.
