  • D60 EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION RECEIVES DONATION

    As part of its commitment to Black Hills Energy and the community, US Solar donated a total of $100,000 to 10 local nonprofits and community organizations, including the D60 Education Foundation.

  • MEET YOUR PRINCIPAL: GINA MARTINDALE

    A Pueblo native, graduate of South High School and longtime District educator, counselor and administrator will now be leading Goodnight School. Gina Martindale, who for the past 8 years has served as Goodnight’s Assistant Principal, will take over the leadership reins from a retired Andrea Glaeser.

    A first for District 60, the Computer Science Convention (CSCon) Family Event in the East High School Media Center drew an inquisitive collective of youngsters eager to explore the exciting world of all things technology-related.

  • DISTRICT EDUCATORS HONORED BY CSU PUEBLO PRESIDENT TIM MOTTET

    For their outstanding effort throughout the pandemic and continuing today, Colorado State University President Dr. Tim Mottet honored the educators of District 60 with a Distinguished Service to Education Award during Saturday’s President’s Blue and Red Gala. The District was represented by Franklin educator Daniel Giron, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues before accepting the award.
