    BULLDOGS HELP BULLPUPS PREPARE FOR TESTING

    In 2022, an exemplary showing on the annual CMAS tests propelled Irving Elementary School from the bottom tier of the state performance framework into Performance status. With CMAS testing to take place throughout the District next week, Irving Principal Jayme Schwab invited the Big ‘Dogs from Centennial to inspire the Bullpups to once again excel on the tests in order to keep Irving at the top.

    CDE GRANT WILL BOLSTER TEACHER MENTORING PROGRAM

    Over the course of two years, a $901,100 Colorado Department of Education New Teacher Mentor Grant will provide additional support to strengthen the District’s new teacher mentoring program. The grant was written by Kelly Warren, the District’s Director of Professional Development, with support from Tammy Neal, Executive Director of Human Resources.

    Through a partnership between District 60 and the Pueblo Urban Renewal Authority, the City’s most iconic athletic facility is to receive $5.2 million in improvements that will breathe new life and longevity into this hub of community activity.
