School Health Services Medicaid Program
Pueblo School District 60 participates in the School Health Services Medicaid Program. The district receives partial reimbursement from Health First Colorado (Medicaid) for the health and medical services provided in the school setting to students enrolled in Health First Colorado with an Individual Education Plan (IEP), Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), 504 Plan, other individualized health or behavioral health plan, or where medical necessity has been otherwise established.
Health services provided by the school at no cost to the family and reimbursed to the district do not affect your child’s lifetime Health First Colorado benefits. Students can receive health services at school on the same day they receive services outside of school. Please read the CDE Parental Brochure for additional information, links below -

Medicaid reimbursement is used to improve, expand, and/or enhance health and health-related services to all students throughout the district in accordance with our Local Service Plan. Below is a list of the health services the district’s Medicaid reimbursement funds:

D60 Nutrition Services Department Civil Rights Complaint Policy
Policy: United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)/Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) Instruction 113-1 (dated 11/8/05) delineates the civil rights requirements for participants in Child Nutrition Programs (CNP). The following is required at the local school food authority (SFA) level.
Any person alleging discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), age, or disability has a right to file a complaint within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory action. All civil rights complaints within Pueblo School District‘s Food and Nutrition Services Department should be directed to Dana Elkins-Greene. Dana Elkins-Greene can be reached via phone at 719-549-7203 or by email at dana.elkinsgreene@pueblod60.org . Complaints can be submitted verbally, in writing, or anonymously.
Pueblo School District 60’s Food and Nutrition Services Department will obtain all necessary complaint information and process the complaint within 90 days. The complaint will be forwarded to:
