Parents can now use our online system to register a child for kindergarten and other grades for the coming school year!
If you want your future kindergarten student to attend your neighborhood elementary school, we encourage you to visit the school in person to do so. Bring your photo ID and proof of address documents with you, along with the child's birth certificate and immunization record.
If your child was born on or before Oct. 1, 2019, he or she is eligible for kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year
If your child is too young for kindergarten for the upcoming school year, and you are interested in Pueblo D-60's Preschool offerings, you can find more information on the Preschool in District 60 page.
You may register now online, and if you have questions, read our Q&A below, or contact our staff with your enrollment questions at (719) 253-6014 or via e-mail at registration@pueblod60.org.

How do I register?
You may register online now, or you may register in person at one of the following locations:
- At the D60 Administration Building (315 W. 11th St.) beginning in July (if buildings can be re-opened by that time)
- At your child's designated neighborhood elementary school when buildings re-open in August.
- If your child is currently enrolled at a D60 preschool, he or she has been automatically enrolled at his or her neighborhood elementary school. Note: your neighborhood elementary school may not be the same as your child's current pre-school. More information is below.
-
What school will my child attend?
Based on your home address, your child has a designated neighborhood elementary school that he or she will attend. Your "neighborhood elementary school" is often the elementary school closest to your home, but that isn't always the case. Double-check our neighborhood elementary school boundary map to see which school your child is supposed to attend.
-
What if my child is currently enrolled in a D60 preschool?
If your four-year-old is enrolled in a D60 preschool this year, then he or she has been automatically registered for kindergarten this fall at their neighborhood elementary school.
Note that your child's neighborhood elementary school may not be the same as his or her current preschool. Your child's neighborhood elementary school is based on his or her home address.
To determine his or her neighborhood elementary school, consult our neighborhood elementary school map.
-
What if my child wants to attend a school other than their neighborhood elementary school?
If you would like for your child to attend a school other than his or her neighborhood elementary school, you must select the school you wish to attending during the online registration process. This will add your child to the waitlist for entry into that school. D60 cannot guarantee that there will be space available for your child at your preferred school, but many parents are successful. If a space at your preferred school is available for your child, someone from that school will contact you directly.
Learn more about the District 60 School Choice process.
If you have won or accepted a seat for your child for the 2020-21 school year through the School Choice process, then he or she is already registered to attend that school in the fall.
