International Baccalaureate (IB)
The International Baccalaureate curriculum offers an education for students from age 3 to 19, comprising of four programs that focus on teaching students to think critically and independently, and how to inquire with care and logic. The IB curriculum prepares students to succeed in a world where facts and fiction merge in the news, and where asking the right questions is a crucial skill that will allow them to flourish long after they’ve left school. The IB curriculum is used in over 5,000 schools globally every day, in over 150 countries around the world.
K-3: IB Primary Years Program
The PYP prepares students to become active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around them. It focuses on the development of the whole child.
4-8: Middle Years Program
A challenging framework that encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world, the MYP is inclusive by design; students of all interests and academic abilities can benefit from their participation.
9-12: Diploma Program
Research suggests many benefits to choosing the DP. The program aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.
