Superintendent Barbara Kimzey
The Pueblo School District 60 Superintendent of Schools reports to the Board of Education and provides administrative leadership to a public school district of over 2,400 employees and more than 15,000 students.
The superintendent is primarily responsible for administering the policies of the Board of Education. The superintendent's responsibilities include overseeing a strategic plan, managing a budget of more than $200 million, driving a comprehensive curriculum to international standards, building and strengthening relationships with parents and a community of more than 100,000 and representing the school district as the primary spokesperson.
