East High School's Career and Technical Education programs offer many wide-ranging professional education opportunities. Each discipline uses a highly-detailed plan of study that outlines what courses students should take to complete a 3- to 4-year CTE pathway.

“I’ve heard from business owners in Pueblo that they are looking for people with DECA experience,” Ms. Armenta said. “Some of my students out looking for jobs also have told me that they’ve seen the question, ‘Are you, or have you ever been, a DECA member?’ on applications.”

Mr. Grine brings to East more than 25 years of industry experience, including stints at EVRAZ, ABC Rail, and CURT Manufacturing. In those years, he came to realize that without the proper training, a trades employee will not stand the test of time.
