  • GRADES 1-8 ONLINE SCHOOL APPROVED BY THE STATE

    D60 Online is slated to open in the fall. Originally, the Online School was to educate students in Kindergarten through the 12th Grade. But as Dutch Clark Digital and the Paragon Learning Center currently offer flexible remote learning plans for high schoolers, the new Online School’s focus will be on elementary and middle school students who have expressed an interest in learning from home.

  • BOETTCHER SCHOLAR GIVES BACK TO CENTRAL (AND POLLINATORS)

    With help from Wildcats present (Luke Johnson) and past (Cole Johnson and Aaron Guerrero, both students at Colorado State University), Peyton spent a couple of weekends adding the plant-filled "pollinator gas stations" to the Central campus.

  • EAST’S DESTINY ANAYA HONORED AS BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS’ YOUTH OF THE YEAR

    A Youth of the Year must achieve academic success, model good character and leadership, and make healthy lifestyle choices. They represent the Best of the Club, and nominees complete a rigorous application process, which includes writing 3 essays and collecting several letters of recommendation that speaks to their strengths in a variety of areas.

  • SUMMER ENRICHMENT ADDS VALUE, EXPERIENCE TO YOUNGSTERS LIVES

    For the past 5 years, Baca educator Abel Montelongo has coordinated the voluntary summer offering at Eva Baca. “Mr. M,” as the Roadrunners refer to him, set up the program to resemble a “summer camp” that offers scholars visits to attractions and exhibits that correspond to the hands-on instruction he offers in the classroom.
