About Goodnight School

Goodnight School, Pueblo's only K-8 school, carries on a trailblazing tradition that was exhibited by its namesake, the Old West pioneer Charles Goodnight. 

For 20 years, Goodnight has established a culture of high performance and success, and doing so by being innovative and forward-thinking. As a K-8 school, Goodnight follows a different classroom structure, as students in Kindergarten through 6th grade have dedicated classroom teachers, while 7th- and 8th-graders get departmentalized instruction in science, English language arts, math, social students and electives. 

Goodnight may be large, but it is well known for its high expectations for students, tremendous teacher commitment and incredible parent support. As a result, Goodnight is proud of the family atmosphere that has developed within its doors.
