  • D60 FUNDING PRIORITIES COMMUNITY SURVEY

    To help guide the District’s use of ESSER III funds, D60 is gathering input from stakeholders to develop a “Use of Funds” plan that must be submitted to the Colorado Department of Education for approval.

    On Tuesday, representatives of the Colorado Teacher of the Year Program, together with District leadership and community members, honored not only the 2020-2021 award recipients but those honored in 2020 who were unable to be acknowledged in a public reception due to the pandemic.

  • EDUCATION FOUNDATION GIFTS EMPLOYEES WITH BRANDED PENS

    This week, some 2,600 staffers will be receiving a branded Soft Touch Accent Gel Pen with colored stylus, along with a card bearing the Foundation’s rebranded logo and this message: “Thank you for all your great work and resilience over the last school year. We appreciate you!”

    In 1961, John F. Kennedy was president, the Internet and high-technology were bold ideas waiting to be discovered, and a new elementary school opened on the South Side in anticipation of a housing boom that soon followed. On Tuesday, Highland Park Elementary marked its 60th year as a jewel in the Pueblo School District 60 network.
