    On Tuesday, representatives of the Colorado Teacher of the Year Program, together with District leadership and community members, honored not only the 2020-2021 award recipients but those honored in 2020 who were unable to be acknowledged in a public reception due to the pandemic.

  • TEACH FOR AMERICA CORPS MEMBER SPOTLIGHT - CHELSEA SONG

    “I elected to join Teach for America because its principles of pursuing equity and strengthening community really resonated with me. When I was a student myself, I sought to better understand and participate in equity through writing. However, when I graduated, I felt inspired to use my voice in the classroom, where the community was sure to be strong, and our voices impactful.

  • EDUCATION FOUNDATION GIFTS EMPLOYEES WITH BRANDED PENS

    This week, some 2,600 staffers will be receiving a branded Soft Touch Accent Gel Pen with colored stylus, along with a card bearing the Foundation’s rebranded logo and this message: “Thank you for all your great work and resilience over the last school year. We appreciate you!”

  • DISTRICT WELL REPRESENTED IN COLORADO STATE FAIR PARADES

    Every year, the District – most notably spirit-filled students from our high schools riding high on flat-bed trucks, marching band musicians and Spirit teams – has had a notable presence in both the Colorado State Fair Parade and the Fiesta Day Parade. This year, however, the District increased that presence in a colorfully impressive manner.
